Prescription Information
These are allowed on an individual basis after consultation with a doctor.
From time to time the doctor will need to see you to check that you are still benefiting from the medicines you are taking – look for a message on the tear off half of the prescription, which lists the medicines you are prescribed.
Please allow up to 5 working days for routine repeat prescriptions. You may receive a call from our pharmacist if you need a review so please allow up to 7 days if this is the case.
Please be aware as from 29th February 2020 third party ordering ie through pharmacies will no longer be allowed. This is a CCG requirement which affects all GP Practices.
You will need to have on-line access to order repeat prescriptions or you will need to complete your repeat prescription counterfoil and leave in the post box on GP reception in person.
If you do not currently have access to on-line services please bring some ID to reception and we will provide you with log in details.
On line services allow you to manage your medication more effectively and you can also request acute medications. There are also a variety of appointments available only on line.
